Houses are an integral part of the CCA culture. Upper school students are divided into one of two houses, Gondor or Shire.
Lower school students have limited opportunities to earn points while upper school students can earn points for service, virtue, participation, academics, and challenges. The house with the most points at the end of the school year wins the coveted House Cup.
Houses function to increase students’ sense of connection to the CCA family, to challenge students to be their best, to celebrate each student’s unique God-given personality and identity, and to participate in God-honoring competition with one another.
