The approach to athletics at CCA stems directly from God's Word, which forms the entire foundation for our school. As a result, coaches seek to develop not only their athletes' skills but also their spiritual lives.
CCA has developed its athletic program to give all children, regardless of their skill level, the opportunity to participate, develop, and succeed. Our program emphasizes good sportsmanship from parents, coaches, and players.
Girls Volleyball
CCA’s middle school volleyball team is open to girls in 4th grade and above. It is a great opportunity to be a part of a team and to learn a new sport. Practice begins in January, games begin in February, and the season is completed in March (typically before Spring Break).
CCA has a co-op with Augustine School of Jackson in Jackson, TN, for high school girls to play volleyball.
CCA's middle school co-ed soccer team is open to students in 4th grade and above. 4th & 5th graders may only participate in practices. Practice begins in February, matches start after Spring Break (mid-March), and the season concludes by the end of April. The purpose of our soccer program is to help our students build self-esteem, display good sportsmanship, become physically fit, learn teamwork, win games, and, most importantly, honor Christ in all that they think, say, and do.
CCA's Cross Country program includes an elementary team for 3rd-5th grades, a middle school team for 6th-8th grades, and a high school team for 9th-12th grades.
In addition to competitive athletics, CCA also offers intramural sports clinics throughout the school year for students. Possible clinics include basketball, bowling, archery, and more.
Tennis
CCA’s middle school tennis team is for students in 6th-8th grades. 4th & 5th graders may participate in practice. CCA has a cop-op with Augustine School of Jackson in Jackson, TN, for high school students to play tennis.
