2026 CCA Spare Change Auction a Huge Success

By: Sarah Medlin

For many years, CCA friends and families have gathered in the spring for our largest annual fundraising event, the CCA Spare Change Auction. This event is pivotal to CCA operations as auction proceeds are earmarked to assist CCA families with tuition; every single dollar given is helping students get a classical, Christian education. In more recent years, this event has grown tremendously in attendance and in outcome.

We recently had the CCA Spare Change Auction on March 7, 2026, and it was our largest attended auction with nearly 400 people in attendance and our largest profit ever raising a little over $121,000.00 after expenses. To God be all the glory! As I contemplate the success of this year’s auction, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all who come together to make this event a success. It takes many hands and many hours of hard work to make this event a success. I am so grateful for parents, board members, and employees who are willing to serve on our Auction Committee procuring items and sponsorships. Beyond that, there is a smaller group of women (CCA employees) who work tirelessly to ensure this event is well organized on all fronts. Without them, this event would not have experienced growth. Finally, I am humbled by the local community that gives so generously to this event in both sponsorships and items to be auctioned off.

Ultimately, this beloved annual fundraising event is a testimony to what teamwork can produce. Our team organizes, the community gives, and attendees support–all for the eternal impact of giving young men and women the financial assistance they need to attend a classical, Christian school. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all who were involved in this year’s CCA Spare Change Auction. May God richly bless your hard work and your generosity!
