CCA Introduces New Admin Team Structure for 2025-2026 School Year

We have some exciting news to announce regarding Christ Classical Academy’s organizational structure for the 2025-2026 school year. CCA has experienced much growth and change since Kim Mullins and Sarah Medlin stepped into leadership at CCA in the fall of 2017.

Over the course of the last several years, the board has discussed strategically expanding and restructuring our admin team to fit the needs of a growing student body. With the launch of a high school in 2020 and now going into our third year of being a PK3-12th grade school, we feel God's leading to make some impactful changes to give greater focused oversight to both our lower school and upper school students, teachers, and families.

With much prayer and discussion, the board and admin team has decided to restructure administration for this upcoming school year with the goal of being a more focused team. We are delighted to announce Kim Mullins will now serve as CCA's Upper School Dean with oversight of 6th-12th grades. Mrs. Kim has built solid relationships with our upper school students and has been an integral part of establishing a high school and growing upper school as a whole. She is wholeheartedly onboard with taking on this new challenge and is excited to direct her focus to the needs of CCA's upper school students, teachers, and families. Mrs. Kim's office will be relocated upstairs so she will be in close proximity to upper school. Lower school students and families, Mrs. Kim is not going anywhere and will still be engaged with the entire CCA community!

Along with the shift in Mrs. Kim's role, we are equally thrilled to announce Angie McNichols will now serve as CCA's Lower School Dean with oversight of PK-5th grades. Mrs. Angie is a veteran lower school teacher who has a firm grasp on CCA's lower school curriculum. She is excited to focus solely on the needs of CCA's lower school students, teachers, and families. Mrs. Angie will be relocated to the downstairs main office in order to be in close proximity to lower school. Please know that Mrs. Angie is not taking Mrs. Kim's place; this is an entirely new position with more focused job responsibilities, which we feel is in the best interest of CCA administrators, teachers, and students.

We understand that change is not easy, and for that reason, we are committed to come alongside both Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Angie as they adjust to this new structure and their new positions. We ask that our larger CCA family do the same. We trust God will equip both Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Angie and will in turn give them a sense of peace that comes with increased focus and fewer hats to wear. We also believe much fruit will be produced by increased focus!

God has faithfully sustained CCA for 30 years and has been so gracious to lead us through many seasons of change. We continue to eagerly anticipate all He has in store for Christ Classical Academy as we walk step by step in accordance with His will.

Blessings,

Sarah Medlin (CCA Executive Director)
