2023 Christ Classical Christian School

Dear CCA Families,

It is with great excitement that I greet you at the end of the first quarter! This has been a time of learning for students, parents, and teachers. Prek and kindergarten students have adjusted to rules and routines of a classroom versus the routines of home or daycare. Older students have learned new rules and expectations as they have progressed to the next grade level where the workload increases. Many parents have also had to adjust to a new routine of helping students complete homework and prepare for tests. Even for veteran teachers, the first quarter is always a period of learning. This is a time where they get to know the new students God has brought to them this year. It is a time for them to learn about students as individuals and how they learn best.

I have seen so much growth in our students throughout this first quarter and am proud of them all. Teachers will conduct parent conferences on Monday, October 9th. Students will receive their first quarter report cards on Monday, October 16th. Now that we are about to be looking at the first quarter in the rearview mirror, it is time to look ahead. Moving forward, I encourage you to check FACTS for assignments, grades, and behavior; it is so important to stay, connected to what is going on at school for the benefit and ultimate success of your student. If needed, I encourage you to contact the teacher to discuss things more in depth. Also, if you ever need to talk to me, you can send me an email or contact the office at 731-285- 3727 or the office cellphone at 731-676-5885 to set up a time to meet with me.

In closing, I send my very best wishes for a safe, happy, and restful Fall Break!

Sincerely,
Kim Mullins
Dean of Students
